Upon receiving a referral from the physician, the intake coordinator from Preferred Home Care of Florida will perform an insurance eligibility check. The agency will arrange for a nurse to visit the patient’s location within 48 hours of the request.

The Registered Nurse will perform an initial assessment and communicate with the physician to determine if any further services are required.
